Fear of loss equals loss

How does a woman tell a man
that his fear of losing her precludes his ever having her?

Fear of loss equals loss.
It is a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Fear of loss may predict loss, perhaps not equal it.

Or it may be the emotive response to the unsaid, unconscious knowledge that loss has already occured. The earliest clue that a break has already taken place.

For the fear that the willingness of the beloved is not aligned with the lover does not allow an independent path. This is the death of love.

The swift motion of the heart's recoil when it is betrayed by possesiveness makes the fear of loss seem equal to loss. But there may be one micro momemt when the learned distrust of the fearful may live without that fear. Rare. Usually to reurn at some later weakened time to betray.

This weakness requires purification to rise above, usually by fire.
